The Verghellu canyon

Half-day canyon. From 10 years old. Optional canyoning shoe rental for €10.

Located in the heart of the island, its clear waters with turquoise reflections flow through a forest of century-old pine trees. Very beautiful wild and fun canyon including 2 to 3 jumps of 1 to 3 m meters (not obligatory) and 2 to 3 natural slides. 2 guided abseils on a zip line of 15 m and 25 m.

From Ajaccio: 1 hour 10 minutes, from Île Rousse: 1 hour, from Corte: 15 minutes.

The canyon is located in the Verghellu valley. The meeting point is near the Vecchio bridge on the RT 20 at the Eiffel bridge between the village of Vivario and Venaco

The descent time is an average of 2 hours 15 minutes, the approach walk is 30 minutes and the return walk 3 minutes.

Total activity time of 3,30 hours (this information is indicative, the time may vary depending on group, weather conditions …)

Don't forget:

- Swimsuit and bath towel + t-shirt

- Sport shoes if you do not rent canyoning shoes

- Bottle of water + snack
